Just on the edge of Saranac Lake is Lake Colby, where you’ll find a state beach, a boat launch, and Latour Park.

The village beach of Saranac Lake is on Lake Colby, on Moir Road, off Route 86 or Upper Broadway Avenue. Town-operated Latour Park on the shore provides picnicking and shore fishing with nearby swimming. New York State operates a boat launch and fishing access.
