The North Country Community College Library houses one of the biggest collection of reference materials in the Tri Lakes region and is just minutes from downtown Saranac Lake.

The Library houses more than 60,000 books, 160 journal titles and a variety of audio-visual materials. In addition, the Library participates in a number of computerized network consortiums which provide access to more than 57 million books, journals, and other learning materials owned by 40,000 libraries throughout the United States, Canada, and the world. A number of electronic resources are available on campus over the Internet, including full-text of journal articles and ebooks. Study carrels, casual seating, and audio-visually equipped desks provide a comfortable environment for research and study. The Library also houses the Adirondack Collection and the Nettie Marie Jones Fine Arts Collection. The Adirondack Collection consist of historical materials pertaining to the Adirondacks, dating back to the early 1800s. The Nettie Marie Jones Fine Arts Collection consist of the former Lake Placid Center for the Arts Fine Arts Collection.
