Uncas Road

Central Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 28, near Eagle Bay in Herkimer County

J.P. Morgan used this route to access Camp Uncas prior to the building of the Sagamore Road.

Road which connects Raquette Lake village to Sagamore, Kill Kare, and Uncas. At one point, JP Morgan was the wealthiest man in the world. Now it is nice mountain biking road and is the access to Great Camp Sagamore historic site as well as other historic and recreation sites.
