Central Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 28, near Eagle Bay in Herkimer County

These stocked trout ponds are popular with anglers and campers.

Off of Route 28, turn onto the Big Moose Road in Eagle Bay and travel 1.8 miles to the trailhead parking on the right. The trail to Cascade Lake is 2 miles and to Cascade Falls is 3 miles (easy). A spur trail continues to Queer Lake for a distance of 4.6 miles.
