Kunjamuk Creek

Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30, near Speculator in Hamilton County

Kunjamuk Creek is a seven mile round trip on a winding river, with a paddle to Elm Lake.

Easily reached via a couple state parking turnouts on Route 30 and 8, east of Speculator. The first four miles of the Sacandaga River can be incorporated into this trip. It is a beautiful stillwater channel that can be paddled in either direction.
