South Main Street Fishing Area
Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30, near Northville in Fulton County
This fishing area is located off the southern end of Northville’s Main Street Bridge, in a pleasantly sandy and open section of the shoreline.
This backbay section of the Great Sacandaga Lake is a good place to try catching some of the Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass, Tiger Musky, Northern Pike, Crappie, Pickerel, Landlocked Salmon that live in the 27,000 acre lake. Please be careful when parking, as well as moving to and from the water, as there is traffic on this stretch of road.
