The Adirondack Research Center at the Saranac Lake Free Library is a must see for anyone interested in the rich history of the Adirondacks.

At 109 Main Street in downtown Saranac Lake, the library provides two meeting rooms, children’s reading area, public use computers, and many other services including area history archives. The Research Center is open to researchers at no charge and contains a wealth of non-circulated materials pertinent to the history and culture of Adirondack life.
