Olympic Byway, State Rt. 3, near Tupper Lake in Franklin County

Massawepie, pronounced massa-WEE-pee, Lake is located in the Adirondack section of southern St. Lawrence County, is best known for the Boy Scout camp surrounding it.

Situated off Route 3 between Cranberry Lake and Tupper Lake, the Massawepie Scout Camps have provided summer camping for Boy Scouts from the Rochester (NY) area since 1952. The Massawepie property has a colorful history involving lumber barons, a resort hotel and several children's camps.
