Central Adirondack Trail, U.S. Highway 9, near Warrensburg in Warren County
Found near Warrensburg, just five miles north of Lake George, and offers the small sandy beach, picnic area and playground in a quiet area north of the village.
Warrensburg is surrounded by the foothills of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the country. Much of this heavily forested terrain is state-owned, and available for hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
