Scenic Overlook on Piercefield Flow
Olympic Byway, State Rt. 3, near Tupper Lake in Franklin County
Piercefield Flow covers 368 acres of state land that offers canoeing, picnicking, or fishing.
Piercefield Flow is essentially a lake formed in a wide section of the Raquette River. The Flow contains fish communities dominated by northern pike and walleye. Can be seen or accessed via Route 3, east of Piercefield, and west of Kildare.
