Riverside Park and Bandshell

Olympic Byway, State Rt. 3, near Saranac Lake in Franklin County

Once the site of a large Adirondack hotel, now a grassy park by the end of lake Flower in downtown Saranac Lake.

Truly a public space, the Anderson Bandshell and Riverside Park, found at the corner of Main and River Streets, are where many local events happen year round. Each Friday evening in July and August, the village presents free jazz, blues, pop and rock concerts at, bordering Lake Flower. During February’s Winter Carnival, the park hosts several contests from sawing to snow and ice sculpting.
