Taking a friend for a hike is a great way to enjoy a day along one of the Scenic Byways through the Adirondack Park

Picnic Area/Boat Access to Meacham Lake

Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30, near Malone in Franklin County

Found at a DEC operated campground, located on Meacham Lake, that features a boat launch, sand beach with bathhouse and picnic area.

On Route 30, 19 miles north of the Hamlet of Lake Clear Junction. Parking for 25 cars and trailers with beach launching, which means no float off or float on trailered boat capability. This site will accommodate the approach to the water's edge of small and light trailered boats. Boat may then be pushed on or off trailer.
