Rock Pond, Cascade Pond, Stephens Pond NYSDEC Trailhead

Central Adirondack Trail and Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 28 and State Rt. 30, near Blue Mountain Lake in Hamilton County

The trailhead is on Durant Road south of Blue Mountain Lake near the cemetery.

Rock Pond trail is .75 mile, over a long boardwalk. Distance to Cascade Pond is 2.8 miles. Stephen's Pond is 4.3 miles, easy and flat. The trail intersects Northville-Lake Placid Trail at .6 mile before Stephen's Pond. Bear right at junction. Lean-to at Stephen's Pond. Cascade Pond has a new lean-to constructed on the east side of the pond, a few hundred feet eastward toward the Northville-Placid Trail along the trail.
