Moody Falls on the Raquette River

Olympic Byway, State Rt. 56, near South Colton in St. Lawrence County

Moody Falls is located on a section of the beautiful Racquette River that twists through a chasm and drops 22 feet.

To access Moody Falls from the Olympic Byway, travel west on NYS Route 3 about 16 miles past Tupper Lake. Take Route 56 North for 1.5 miles. An unmarked trail on the right leads to the base of Moody Falls. Another mile up the road, a .3 mile woods road leads to views of Jamestown Falls, a long cascading waterfall.
