Year-round recreation opportunities can be enjoyed at Fern Park, located within walking distance of downtown Inlet.

Near Inlet, on Loomis Road, Fern Park is located within walking distance of the downtown, just off South Shore Road and is always open. Features ball fields, picnic tables, public rest rooms, nature trail, hiking trailheads, cross-country skiing, ice skating, warming hut, plus seasonal events. The ice skating rink is enclosed, lighted, has a warming room and is free. Also in the winter this park also offers a sledding hill and miles of cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails.
