Black River Portage near Brownville

Olympic Byway, County Rt. 3, near Watertown in Jefferson County

Essentially a cartop boat takeout and put in spot found on the Black River, on the southern edge of the village of Brownville, downstream of Watertown.

Located off Route 12, or West Main Street, in the vicinity located between Bridge Street and the southern, waterfront end of Brown Boulevard, and used as either a launch site or a means to get around a small, rocky island in the middle of the river.
