Wevertown
Central Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 28, in Warren County
Wevertown is near the Hudson River between Warrensburg and North Creek.
This small hamlet is one of many friendly communities along the Central Adirondack Trail Scenic Byway. The 153-mile Central Adirondack Trail forms the shape of a crescent, originating in the fertile lowland areas surrounding the cities of Glens Falls and Rome, and winding through the south-central portion of the Adirondack Park. The Hudson River on the eastern end and the Erie Canal on the west are the gateways to many scenic lakes and mountain streams that are the distinguishing geographic features along much of this scenic byway.
