Schroon River Canoe Access

Central Adirondack Trail, U.S. Highway 9, near Warrensburg in Warren County

Warren County offers 14 canoe access sites on the Hudson and Schroon Rivers for your convenience, while NYS offers several boat launch facilities in the area.

Some Canoe Access Sites in the North Warren area: Schroon River: Starbuckville Dam, Country Route 53, Chestertown. At the South Horicon Bridge, County Route 30, Chestertown. And below the Middletown Bridge, East Schroon River Road, Warrensburg. On the Hudson River: At the Raparius Bridge, Route 8, Raparius. Also one at the Glen Bridge, Route 28, Warrensburg.
