Third Thursday Glens Falls Art Walk
Central Adirondack Trail, U.S. Highway 9, near Glens Falls in Warren County
Third Thursday has helped over 300 artists to exhibit their work in traditional and alternative gallery spaces in Glens Falls.
Monthly exhibits give artists the opportunity to connect with art-buyers and become more self-supportive through the sale of their artwork. After five years, this program has gained strong community support and was recently recognized by Metroland as one of the factors in garnering Glens Falls the title of 2009 Best Unexpected Arts Mecca.
Art in the Public Eye (APE), Inc. is a non-profit arts organization in Glens Falls whose mission is to cultivate a partnership between the area arts community and local businesses, to promote established and emerging artists and local commerce, and to create greater access to the arts through cultural activities and public exhibitions.
