Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30, near Tupper Lake in Franklin County
Part of the Northern River Canoe Trail, there are a number of access points.
As seen from a map or the air, this section of the river is an amazing series of twists, turns, elbows and oxbows through some truly amazing wilderness that offers the paddler unforgettable views of flora and fauna. This resource is in Section 1 of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, a 740-mile water route extending from Old Forge in the Adirondack Park to Fort Kent, Maine.
