Newton Falls Bike Loop

Olympic Byway, State Rt. 3, near Star Lake in St. Lawrence County

The Newton Falls Bike Loop is a scenic route that follows the Oswegatchie River.

The Newton Falls bike loop starts in the hamlet of Newton Falls, about 3 miles northeast of the hamlet of Star Lake on the Newton Falls Road. Start on the River Road along the Oswegatchie to the junction with Tooley Pond Road. To complete the loop, take Tooley Pond Road to Cranberry Lake, turn west on Route 3 until you intersect the Newton Falls Road at Benson Mines.
