Mrs. Henry's Boarding House
Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30A, near Johnstown in Fulton County
Found very near downtown Johnstown, Mrs. Henry’s Boarding House is the site where Susan B. Anthony did some historically famous Women’s Suffrage Movement writing.
Between 1881 and 1886, Anthony worked on and published the History of Women’s Suffrage from this location of South William Street, south of the Main Street intersection. Elizabeth Cady Stanton lived not too far away and was her collaborator on this three volume work. There is a sign on the building but not currently open to the public, but portions of it may be soon.
