Lime Quarry Trail in Ongebonge State Forest
Olympic Byway, State Rt. 3, near Natural Bridge in Jefferson County
The Lime Quarry Road Trail, just north of NYS Route 3 in the town of Natural Bridge offers access to the 1,835-acre Onjebonge State Forest.
Recreational pursuits here include fishing on the Indian River from the Lime Quarry Road accessible fishing pier located on the Indian River at the end of the 1.4 mile Lime Quarry Road. Anglers can fish for smallmouth bass, pike, sunfish, bullhead and other warmwater species. White-tailed deer and small game hunting, trapping, and woodland hiking and biking are also possible in the Onjebonge State Forest via Lime Quarry Road.
