Jenkin's Mountain Trailhead

Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30, near Paul Smiths in Franklin County

From the Adirondack Park Visitor Interpretive Center, hike along an old woods road and continue by trail to a partially open summit with great views.

This a relatively easy 8.4 mile round trip. Walk on the remains of an old road over mostly gentle terrain to this partially open summit with great views of the St. Regis Canoe Area. Glacial eskers are crossed along the way. Also a pleasant ski or snowshoe.
