Gloversville National Armory

Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30A, near Gloversville in Fulton County

Approved by NYS in 1903, begun in 1904 and occupied by 1905, this is one of New York’s historic armories, continuously used as such.

The State Armory of the National Guard, located at 87 Washington Street, near the intersection of South Judson Street, one block south of East Fulton, Route 29A. Well worth the visit. Access may be limited, so be prepared to marvel at the exterior, in particular the octagonal corner tower. This is a nearly identical copy of the Binghamton Armory.
