Cross Country Ski Trails near Jerden Falls
Olympic Byway, County Rt. 3, near Harrisville in Lewis County
A remote section of trail found in the vicinity of Indian River, off Route 812 between Croghan and Harrisville.
Seems to be one of the lesser known trails in the region. Can best be found by going to either Croghan and driving northward up Route 812, Indian River Road, and turning right onto Jerden Falls Road. Alternately, coming from Harrisville southwestwardly down Routes 3 and 812 toward Lake Bonaparte, turn left onto Dutton Road, Route 812, and proceed east to Jerden Falls, then south for less than a mile. From here, look for the large powerline rights of way that run north and south.
