Cranberry Lake Wild Forest
Olympic Byway, County Rt. 3, near Cranberry Lake in St. Lawrence County
The Wild Forest at Cranberry Lake contains 15 miles of foot trails, 9.4 miles of snowmobile trails, 8.5 miles of ski trails, and two Adirondack lean-tos.
Just east of Cranberry Lake Village, on Route 3, DEC maintains a public campground and day-use area on the lake, which includes a picnic area, a beach, and bathhouses. Graded areas for tents or trailers, convenient water outlets, toilets, a trailer dump-out station, and showers are available. A public boat launch is located on Columbian Road west of Cranberry Lake.
