Military Cemetery at Sackets Harbor
Olympic Byway, State Rt. 3, near Sackets Harbor in Jefferson County
Visit the Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site, historic Madison Barracks, the Seaway Trail Discovery Center and our historic Military Cemetery.
Near the site of the War of 1812 battle in which American farmers fought back British warships. Moved to its present location in 1909, remains in active use. It may be the final resting place of General Zebulon Pike, killed during the battle of Toronto. Available by walking or driving out either Brady or Pike Roads to the loop northeast of downtown, along the river.
