Black River Bay NYSDEC Cartop Boat Launch
Olympic Byway, County Rt. 3, near Sackets Harbor in Jefferson County
Boaters can take their pick of two DEC sites on Black River Bay of Lake Ontario in Jefferson County.
The first launch is found at Muskellunge Creek, on Route 180, one and a quarter mile south of Village of Dexter, which is a hand launch site with room for up to 24 cars. No trailers. The other is Lloyds Landing on Military Road, two miles northeast of Sackets Harbor, noted as a beach launch site with room for 20 cars and trailers.
