Pig Rock

Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30, near Speculator in Hamilton County

Known to many Route 30 drivers, this is one roadside oddity that never fails to raise an amused eyebrow as to whether that was a large grey pig’s head.

The Pig Rock is about six miles north of Speculator, on the east side of Route 30. Actually a large boulder painted grey, with an eyeball and snout that will erase any doubt that you just saw Pig Rock.
