Mountain Biking Trails on Deerfeet Lodge Road
Adirondack Trail, State Rt. 30, near Speculator in Hamilton County
One of at least two nice mountain biking opportunities near Speculator.
It is located on Deerfeet Lodge Road, off the western side of Route 3, a few miles north of Speculator. Among other adjacent roads are Perkins Clearing and Mud Lake Roads. This trail system has an X configuration, allowing users to vary their route as time allows. Route 30 forming a boundary to the east. There are small clearings and ponds scattered throughout.
Hamilton County offers a great diversity of bicycling, including a number of gravel and dirt roads, providing the opportunity to experience wilderness areas along quiet back roads.
