Historic Union Depot and Adirondack Scenic Railroad

Olympic Byway, State Rt. 3 and State Rt. 86, near Saranac Lake in Franklin County

Experience both scenery and history at the Adirondack Scenic Railroad's Union Depot in Saranac Lake, New York.

Saranac Lake's Union Depot was built in 1904 and restored in the 1990's. The station houses historic exhibits, a visitors center and gift shops. Tickets for the nonprofit Adirondack Scenic Railroad which runs between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid can also be purchased here.
